EAR CANDLING
 

EAR CANDLING is a traditional folk remedy that detoxifies the ear canal.  The "candle" is a cylinder that is made from linen and rolled in paraffin or bees wax.  The cylinder is gently placed in the ear with protective coverings for the face and head.  The end is lit and the smoke gently draws toxins, wax, and debris out of the ear.

Ear candling can increase hearing and decrease inner ear noises such as popping or ringing.  It can also reduce congestion from colds.

It should not be done if there are signs of infection such as sharp pain in the ear.  I apply gentle lymphatic massage to the face and neck during the session.
 

LYMPHATIC MASSAGE is very light, yet very profound.  Clients tend to get very deeply relaxed during this session.  It stimulates lymph flow, which strengthens the immune system and encourages healing.  This one hour session concludes with a abdominal massage and is particularly valuable to receive before a colonic.
 

POLARITY is a type of energy work that serves to balance the positive and negative poles of the body.  It balances and directs energy flow in the body.  It stimulates a sensory awareness of the body, increases energy and encourages healing.
 

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE increases blood flow as well as lymph flow.  These serves to strengthen the immune system and encourages healing.  It further increases sensory awareness of the body while being very relaxing. 

If the client is comfortable, I will include abdominal massage.  This is particularly beneficial to receive before a colonic.
