Preparing for a Colonic

Constipation Protocol

Many more people suffer from constipation than I ever realized. The constipated case is difficult. The person might have dehydration, dry impacted stool or a redundant bowel. Redundant bowel means one has extra length of intestines.

The colonic may be difficult to perform because the stool might not fit through the speculum or the person might feel cramping and urgency when the water flows in at a low rate. We have developed a protocol that allows the constipated client to have a good experience on their first colonic. We request (and it is not mandatory), that the client follows this program for the 3 days preceding the colonic.

1) Drink a gallon of fluids daily: water, herb teas and/or raw juices. Lemon juice may be put in the water: honey may be used in the tea: juices may be diluted.

2) Eat fruits and vegetable only. If you are blood sugar compromised, include protein such as raw nuts, raw seeds, eggs or fish.

3) Take an enema or laxative each night enough to clear the bowel gently the following day.

This protocol will ensure a more successful colonic and relieve any discomfort you may be having before your session. This process will hydrate you, soften your stool and eliminate hardened impacted stool.

Constipation is a serious condition.

Many clients over the years who have had cancer, arthritis and other health threatening illnesses say that they have been constipated all their life. The constipation was never dealt with.

Colon hydrotherapy is a process that allows one to begin to deal with their constipation in a natural way.
